PUBLIC NOTICE VILLAGE OF TEUTOPOLIS PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE The Village of Teutopolis will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 6:30 p.m., at Village Hall, 106 W. Main St., Teutopolis, IL 62467 to provide interested parties an opportunity to express their views on the proposed federally and state funded project consisting of the construction of new ADA sidewalk including detectable warnings, pavement marking, replacing box culverts and storm sewer. The project area will encompass Main St./Rt 40 (from Commercial Dr. to Columbus St.), Columbus St. (from south side of Union Pacific Railroad to Southern Row), Southern Row (from Smith St. to Pearl St.), Smith St. (from Southern Row thence South), Wooden Shoe Rd. (from Southern Row to Deutsch Rd.), Race St. (from Southern Row to Deutsch Rd.), Deutsch Rd. (from Wooden Shoe Rd. to Race St.), and Wall St. (from Elm St. to Southern Row). The village intends to apply to the Illinois Department of Transportation for a grant through the Illinois Transportation Enhancement Program Cycle 16 by September 30, 2024.
